About Alter

Alter ˈɔːltə(r) (verb): to become different; to make something different.

At Alter, we are committed to curating a lineup which is representative of the electronic music community, with Female, NB and LGBTQA+ DJs at the forefront of our programming. We are also dedicated to uplifting new talent and raising the profiles of grassroots DJs.

We’re carefully crafting an experience which offers people an escape from the alienation of the modern world and fosters a sense of community. We’re encouraging everyone to connect through group activities, shared dinners, pub quizzes, camp fires, yoga, workshops and more. We want our attendees to be fully present in the moment and our dancefloors will be largely ‘no phone zones’.

We are also dedicated to making the festival a visual feast for our attendees to experience and lose themselves in, through spectacular staging and lighting design and interactive works of art. We’re lucky enough to have a beautiful site with gorgeous countryside views and a forested area which will house one of our stages.

°❈° Join us 2-4th August 2024 for an escape from the ordinary °❈°
